Time Lapse Video Production

Time lapse is a wonderful device to allow people to witness what’s involved in a prolonged process e.g. the physical practicalities of building a house or moving office. More prosaically, time lapse allows viewers to see the world as it really is: temporal, changing, and beautiful, like the changing of the seasons.
By its nature, shooting time lapse video is usually a lengthy process with very particular constraints. At times it’s often beneficial to shoot ‘real time’ to catch a particularly short-lived event, yet cleverly blend this with the main footage in post production.
Not only is well produced time lapse video a marvelous talking point for a reception area its often one of the only ways to show complex ‘organic’ processes and procedures in interesting ways, whether it's aircraft movements at an international airport, or the gradual entropy of an organism.
